About YWAM Project Funding

Project Funding is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We provide charitable administration, ministry oversight, donation processing, receipting services, compliance support and funding services for approved YWAM ministry Projects operating under the oversight of Youth With A Mission (BC) Society.

Project Funding operates in partnership with two registered Canadian charities:

• Youth With A Mission (BC) Society (“YWAM BC”) – responsible for oversight, accountability, and administration of approved ministry Projects.
• Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Foundation – responsible for donation processing and charitable receipting.

Donors who wish to partner with approved ministry Projects may give through several convenient methods, including credit card, e-transfer, pre-authorized debit, and cheque. Donations are processed with reference to approved Project designations and administered under YWAM BC oversight.

There is no upfront cost to join Project Funding. A 5% administration fee is applied to donations received through the office to support administrative services, charitable receipting, reporting, and compliance with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) requirements.

Eligibility

A Project Funding account may be established for an approved YWAM ministry Project carried out by a YWAMer serving under recognized YWAM leadership, supervision, and accountability structures.

Ongoing Accountability

Approved Projects are required to submit quarterly ministry reports and renew their accounts every two years. These requirements help ensure accountability, transparency, and compliance with charitable regulations.
